strainvanloms Great stuff! Progressive and versatile, yet still accessible; thoughtful and dark. I'm looking forward to future releases! Favorite track: Haze.

Haze 07:10
Do you remember me through all that haze? Do you remember me – I saw you... lifting shadows of the night - You can't deny yourself and all of us lifting shadows of the night - I won't deny the nature of our kind I cannot deny myself the nature of your kind I cannot deny myself the feelings left inside Arguments go round vicious circles Circumstances no longer permit closeness And so the story goes - I see (And) So the night explores      Do you remember me – I reveal    I left a lifetime inside this       I will move on and on and on No place to stop, to lay my weary head I cant change the way it is And I never would change it I will move on and on and on No place to stop    to lay my weary head I left a lifetime inside this And I never would change it When did time turn against us How did you get another life Do you really believe their lies Or is it just easier to doubt than understand And so the story begins again And so the night creeps back to us And so the story goes - I see (And) So the night explores Do you remember me – I reveal    I left a lifetime inside this      Do you remember me?    I feel the distance grow A life a promise - taken based on lies Endless walls around your chosen prison Arguments go lost in hidden ways No way out of this    troubled vision. I cannot deny myself the nature of your kind I cannot deny myself the feelings left inside Arguments go round vicious circles Circumstances no longer permit closeness

Resonate 04:15
Trickling through the silence spinning swiftly through the night slowly rising unnoticed Blib blop and one more Crystal clear and smooth plane Endless wide without horizon silence above all things left Peace to hard to bear Peace to hard to bear I could feel your spirit go down But I saw your steps grow longer As I followed the same old alley Traces of a life resonate from all the walls Crystal clear no mark Endless wide without horizon silence above all things left Peace to hard to bear

about

Traces of a life is the project of Peter and Sebastian Dendorfer, in which we live out our love for proggy metal without much frills.
Dark Prog? Metal with too few choruses and structure? Anyway, the goal was and is to make music that we like to listen to like to, without compromising in any direction.
Traces of a life is also the meeting of generations, well that sounds very pathetic, its prog after all. The old weirdo with the guitar with the very young weirdo with the bass.
As it should be, I:Think Goddess is a concept EP. The central theme of Think Goddess is the search for identity. We send our protagonists on various journeys into the depths of religion and social aberrations.
The music, lyrics and arrangements were developed jointly by Peter and Sebastian. Peter is responsible for basses with far too many strings and the vocals. The guitars are Sebastian's work.
The mix and mastering was done by Nino
Helfrich (Skull Tone Studios).
